 SUPPLIES PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING: Label all your own supplies

• 2-4 yards of your own hand dyed fabric, LIGHT values for overdyeing

• 5 or more yards 100% cotton or silk, well washed. Be sure this is a fabric that dyes well

• Two or more pieced blocks – preferably discarded from previous projects, at least 10”

square or part of an unfinished pieced top you don't plan to finish – for overdyeing

• One set plastic measuring spoons and two 1 cup liquid measures

• White shower curtain or heavy plastic to cover table top and for painting surface

• 1-2 lightweight plastic drop cloths to cover fabric pieces (8' x 12')

• Masking tape, wide and narrow

• Scissors for plastic cutting

• Several pairs rubber gloves and paint clothes and/or apron

• Jar(s) to rinse brushes, absorbent paper towels, rags and old towel for clean up

• Heavy permanent black marker to label fabric

• 10 or more 1-cup plastic containers with lids (like wide mouth yogurt cups – disposable is easiest)

• 6 or more 2 cup plastic containers and lids (like cottage cheese – disposable is easiest)

• 3 one quart plastic containers, wide mouth (like cottage cheese – disposable is easiest)

• 2 half gallon or one gallon buckets or basins

•12 or more quart or gallon zip lock bags

• Sevearl tall white kitchen garbage bags

• 6-10 plastic spoons and forks and one long handled plastic spoon

• 2-3 firm dense foam rollers assorted sizes and a point tray(s) for rollers

• 3 or more 1” sponge brushes and a few larger sizes sponge brushes

• Other paint brushes, assorted sizes, bristle, nylon, etc.

• One or more textured sponges

• Any wood blocks or other stamps YOU MADE

• A texture for impressing a design, any firm plastic or wood with distinct textre, preferable one that

relates to designs you like to use

• Matching PAIRS of shapes for clamping, rigid plastic or wood

• 4 or more strong spring clamps (or C clamps or binder clamps or bulldog clamps)

• Double sided tape

• Glue Stick

• 1 or more pieces rigid Plexiglass, any size under 8 inches

• 2 or more large size white meat trays

• Other flat storage container, plastic shoe box, or smaller box for folded/clamped dyeing
