We are proud to announce our programs for the Summer Seminar 2009. We have two distinguished teachers, offering a variety of classes. Listed below are our guest teachers and a brief description of the classes offered. We are once again thrilled to announce the facility for our 2009 Summer Seminar will be at Techy Towers in Northbrook. The facility provides classrooms, overnight accommodations and food service so we can avoid all those outside distractions for the duration of our class.

The Star Book is a well known book structure and it has many reiterations. The book I’m teaching is a combination of many approaches. I love it because it is so versatile, and it is easy to make but looks spectacular. You can make theme oriented books, books that are scrapbooks, books for centerpieces, books to hang, pop up books, tunnel books, you get the idea.

Both a process and product class, students experiment with design tools developing composition skills and further strengthen work with machine quilting on Day 3.
